Rajiv had left behind the suicide note near the bodies in which he mentioned that his daughter-in-law, in connivance with her father Ashok Gulati and son Gaurav Gulati of Haibowal, was demanding a huge sum of money from him and when he refused to give the money, the accused threatened to file a false case of domestic violence against him on the complaint of his daughter-in-law Garima.
