Laxman Rawat annexes Snooker title

Chennai, Nov 28 (UNI) Laxman Rawat of PSPB annexed
the title in the Ajay Rastogi Memorial All India Open Snooker
Championship here today.
In the best of 11 frame final, he defeated M Yogesh Kumar
of Karnataka by six frames to three in a close contest.
Laxman started in right earnest winning the first frame, before
Yogesh fought back winning the next two.
But Laxman, who was in fine form, potted with elan and won
the next three frames in a row to take a 4-2 lead. Yogesh
showed signs of a fight back winning the seventh 34-52,
before the PSPB cueist sealed his fate bagging the next
two to bag the title.

Laxman Rawat (PSPB) bt M.Yogesh Kumar (KAR) 6-3
(71-41, 45-55, 02-63, 73-24, 56-24, 97-21, 34-52,
57-41, 65-57).
