While Amazon’s products might be fairly affordable at their respective RRPs, they drop far lower on big shopping days (and weeks) like Black Friday. These smart devices are great at adding some futuristic flair to your home, whether to command clever bulbs to turn on with your voice or just play music.
Echo devices come in all shapes and sizes, from mini ones like the Echo Dot (currently excellent value at £28.99) to the display-toting Echo Show 8. The Show can even playback videos from Prime and display your snaps.
If you’re all about audio, the Echo Studio is an excellent sounding speaker that boasts 3D audio. It’s currently £30, which makes it a tempting prospect.

Amazon also makes a bunch of TV sticks. These come in various shapes and sizes and add extra smarts to your TV. They all have access to Prime Video, Netflix, Disney Plus and more and are great choices if you have an older TV without all these apps already installed. There are four current models, two of which pack 4K HDR and another two focussed 0n 1080p. Depending on your TV, you should choose accordingly.
The slightly different model is the TV Cube, which packs in Alexa smarts and doesn’t plug directly into the HDMI port.

Amazon’s Fire range of tablet covers many different sizes and prices. There’s the budget Fire 7, then the larger HD 8 and the biggest is the HD 10. There are kids versions too, which comes with a bumper case and additional parental controls.
