MSCI Global Standard Index Rejig Effective Today

MSCI Global Standard Index Rebalancing that is broadly used for benchmarking global equities will be effective today. And as per it the new inclusions made are Trent, Kotak Mahindra Bank while the others that will be omitted include LIC Housing and Bosch.

Also others added to the list are ACC, Adani Green Energy, Apollo Hospitals, Balkrishna Industries, IPCA Laboratories, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Larsen & Toubro Infotech, MRF, Muthoot Finance, PI Industries, Trent Limited and YES Bank.

There will be huge fund inflow into Kotak Mahindra and Adani Green as they command a higher weightage.
