RGUKT CET exam 2020 postponed to December 5, no change in exam centers

NEW DELHI: Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Andhra Pradesh has postponed the CET examination 2020.

The RGUKT CET 2020 exam was scheduled to be held on November 28, 2020 but due to the impact of severe cyclone Nivar in few district of the state, the exam has been postponed to December 5, 2020. Now, the RGUKT CET 2020 will be held on Saturday, December 5 between 11;00 am and 01:00 pm in designated centers as mentioned on the admit card.

Candidates should note that there is no change in the examination centers or hall tickets allotted to the candidates.

Candidates are advised to report at the allotted centers two hours before the commencement of the examination along with the hall ticket and any identity proof issues by the competent authority.

The Entrance test is conducted as paper based with OMR answer sheet for a duration of two hours and the question paper consists of total 100 questions comprising of 50 questions in Mathematics, 25 questions in Physical Sciences and 25 questions in Biological Sciences with each question carrying one mark. All questions are of objective type (multiple choice) only and each question carries one mark.

RGUKT CET 2020 SYLLABUS


Mathematics (50 Marks)


Real Numbers, Sets, Polynomials, Pair of Linear Equations in Two Variables, Quadratic Equations, Progressions, Coordinate Geometry, Similar Triangles, Tangents and Secants to a Circle, Mensuration, Trigonometry, Applications of Trigonometry, Probability, Statistics.

Physical Sciences (25 Marks)


Heat, Acids, Bases and Salts, Refraction of Light at Plane Surfaces, Refraction of Light at Curved Surfaces, Human Eye and Colourful world, Structure of Atom, Classification of Elements- The Periodic Table, Chemical Bonding, Electric Current, Electromagnetism, Principles of Metallurgy, Carbon and its Compounds.


Biological Sciences (25 Marks)


Nutrition - Food Supplying system, Respiration - The energy releasing system, Transportation - The circulatory system, Excretion - The wastage disposing system, Coordination - The linking system, Reproduction - The generating system, Coordination in life processes, Heredity - From parent to progeny, Our environment - Our concern, Natural resources.
