The Q80T’s picture quality is impressive, characterised by plenty of detail and colour with 4K and HD content, making this set a great option for bright or dark rooms. With class-leading input lag and good audio, at £899 its extremely good value.

While OLED is getting cheaper by the year, few new TVs drop below the £1000 mark, which for a lot of people is just too much money to spend on a TV. OLED TVs aren’t the brightest TVs either and for HDR, the brighter a TV can get, the more it’ll help the HDR performance.
An alternative is a Samsung QLED TVs, which offer the brightest HDR performance you can get. LG NanoCell TVs can hit a similar level of brightness as OLEDs, but can be found at a more affordable price if you know where to look (and we do).
