PUBG Mobile is all set to make a comeback in India after the game was banned in September. Interestingly, the game is being relaunched in India after the original creators of the game PUBG Corporation ended its partnership with China-based Tencent games and set up a new company called PUBG India Pvt. Ltd. An entirely new game will be launched for the Indian market called PUBG Mobile India which will be slightly different to the original game that people were used to playing before the ban. Here’s what may be new and other details you need to know.
PUBG Mobile India may be available to all users in India by end of December
Media reports claim that by the first week of December you may be able to play the game. PUBG Mobile India will be first available for Android users in India and will be rolled out to iOS users later. It is expected that by December end, the game is likely to be available to all.
New PUBG Mobile India game will be customised for Indian gamers
The upcoming PUBG Mobile India game will have new features and settings and will be set in a virtual simulation training ground.
There will be new characters that will start automatically with clothes
Clothes and costumes are a crucial aspect for PUBG Mobile players. Usually, in the beginning of the game, the virtual avatar of the player starts without any clothes. However, in the new PUBG Mobile India game there will be new characters that automatically start clothed.
The hit mark colour is changed from Red to Green
When you get hit while playing the game, a Red colour indicates declining health of the player. However, the Red effects are now replaced with Green hit effects to reflect the virtual nature of the game.
There will be restrictions related to how much time you can spend playing PUBG Mobile
The company said that it will include a feature that places restrictions on game time to promote healthy gameplay habits for young players.
You may have to download the new game and create a new account altogether
Even, if you have the old PUBG Mobile app installed on your mobile, you will have to re-install the new game to play. While the company hasn’t confirmed this, most likely you will have to start your PUBG Mobile India career afresh.
PUBG India has partnered with Microsoft to launch the game
PUBG India will be using Microsoft Azure cloud services to offer the game and be compliant with local data regulations.
