Mamelodi Sundowns coach Steve Komphela understands the challenges his side face ahead of their upcoming Dstv Premiership clash.

The Brazilians are up against Cape side Stellenbosch in the wake of the tragic passing of former Sundowns defender Anele Ngcongca.

The news came as a shock to the entire South African football fraternity, leaving his old teammates still reeling as a result of the untimely death.

Speaking ahead of the game, Komphela was reported by IOL as saying: "You can be in a tragic situation, but if you don't have a way of coming out then you have a problem.

"But how do we come out of this, considering that you have to come out quickly and very sensitively.

"If you say, 'ah, let's forget, let's move on, it's sensitive'. But you've got to be realistic. It's a very sensitive issue to many of you.

"But one thing you should know that after a huge setback, you need to know that we need to take our lives back."

Kick-off is on Saturday at 18:00.
