BHEL net profit down at Rs 15 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 11.1% to Rs 50.5 billion during the period as against Rs 56.8 billion in January-March 2019.
For the year ended March 2020, BHEL reported 225.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 14.9 billion compared to net profit of Rs 11.9 billion during FY19.
Revenue of the company grew 29.4% to Rs 215 billion during FY20.
The current Price to earnings ratio of BHEL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 7.8x.
