Austrian operator Kabelplus has signed an agreement with Energieallianz for the supply of renewable energy in 2021 and 2022. Energieallianz will supply Kabelplus locations with 100 percent renewable energies, most from hydropower. Kabelplus expects to save 2,300 tons of CO2 per year during the term of the contract.
Kabelplus uses the product quality EAA-Aqua. This means that the electricity supplied is entirely from renewable energy sources such as water, wind, sun, biomass and biogas, and that it is completely CO2-free. Energieallianz issues a certificate confirming the purchase of electricity from renewable energy sources.
