Hospital staff spread awareness on pandemic

Ludhiana, November 26

The Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) today volunteered to generate awareness among the public to use masks and wear them properly. The drive was conducted in Udham Singh Market. Shopkeepers of the area were given pamphlets to spread awareness and masks were also distributed. Area councillor Sunny Bhalla and residents of the area were also present.

Dr Sarit Sharma and Dr Hitant Vohra from the DMCH conducted the event and got exemplary support from people.

In the evening, another awareness drive was conducted on the premises of Baba Sunet Shaha Wali Dargah in areas adjacent to the Punjab Agricultural University campus. On Thursday, a large number of devotees throng Dargah and the DMCH thought it opportune time to make people aware of keeping themselves safe from the probable attack of second wave of Covid.

The Deputy Commissioner lauded the efforts of the DMCH.
