New Zealand and the West Indies took a knee together in support of the Black Lives Matter movement ahead of their T20 in Auckland on Friday.

The action, which saw several players raise their fists in a further show of support, was received by applause from the Eden Park crowd.

The Proteas and England, meanwhile, will not be taking the knee in their opening T20 at Newlands on Friday night, with the South Africans confirming that the decision was one taken by the team as a whole.
