HC agrees to relieve Jarnail

Imphal, November 26 2020: With Administrator of Manipur University Jarnail Singh personally approaching the High Court of Manipur to relieve him from duty, he has been granted permission to leave the varsity by November 30 .

Accordingly Manipur University has been asked to name the senior most Professor or the Pro-VC look after the duties of the Vice Chancellor.

Speaking to The Sangai Express Jarnail Singh said that he personally approached the High Court on November 12 to relieve him from duty as his wife is ailing and his children are staying abroad.
