Operations Cell in-charge transferred to Police Lines

Chandigarh, November 26

Inspector Ranjit Singh, in-charge, Operations Cell, was transferred to the Police Lines, Sector 26, here today. A departmental inquiry has also been initiated against him. While officers were tight-lipped over the reason behind the sudden transfer of the Inspector, sources said a complaint was received against the cop following which a preliminary inquiry was conducted based on which he has been transferred. — TNS
