Virat Kohli’s Indian cricket team are in a good space heading into the ODI and T20I series against Australia starting on November 27. The Indian cricket team has been practicing on a regular basis and they have been going about their job of getting used to the conditions after completing their 14-day mandatory quarantine period after travelling from the UAE to Australia. The good mood and positive nature in the Indian cricket team was highlighted in their training session when Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja hilariously copied each other’s bowling actions.

In the video uploaded by the official Twitter handle of the BCCI, Ravindra Jadeja did a left-arm impression of Jasprit Bumrah while Bumrah did mimicked Jadeja’s actions. In the video, one can see that Jasprit Bumrah did a fine job as compared to Ravindra Jadeja. The fans also noticed this with many saying that Bumrah did Jadeja better than Jadeja himself. Even Prithvi Shaw joined in the fun, with the Mumbai batsman mimicking Anil Kumble’s bowling action as well as that of Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja.

India tour of Australia

The Indian cricket team’s tour starts with a three-match ODI series beginning on Friday. The two teams will play two ODIs in Sydney and the third match in Canberra. The 50-over affair will be followed by the T20 International (T20I) series, which will again see one game in Canberra and two in Sydney.

The tour will conclude with the four-match Test series, starting with the day-night Test in Adelaide. The second match will be the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, followed by matches in Sydney and Brisbane. India created history in their last tour in 2018/19 when they became the first Asian nation to win a Test series in Australia. Virat Kohli’s Indian cricket team are the second side in world cricket after South Africa to win series in all formats Down Under.

The build-up to the tour has been marred by injuries to Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma and there is a big doubt whether they will be available for the tour. Virat Kohli will only play the Pink Ball Test following which he will head back to India on paternity leave as he and his wife Anushka Sharma are expecting the birth of their child.
