Bank of Maharashtra fears disruption in normal functioning if the industrial strike goes ahead on Thursday. The Bank said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday that if the strike materializes, the normal functioning of the Bank’s branches and offices is likely to be affected.
“The Bank is taking all necessary steps to minimizes the impact of strikes so as to provide the normal banking services to its customers,” it said.
All India Bank Officers Association (AIBOA), All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA), Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI), has given a call for one-day strike on November 26, 2020 in support of their various demands and issues.
“The above strike is at industry level and not at Bank level issues,” the Bank pointed out.
