COVID: J&K reports fresh 487 +ve cases, five deaths

Jammu, Nov 26 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday informed that 487 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (232 from Jammu division and 255 from Kashmir division), have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 108306.
Also five deaths have been reported; 02 from Jammu division and 03 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 471 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 183 from Jammu Division and 288 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 108306 positive cases, 5275 are Active Positive, 101363 have recovered and 1668 have died; 574 in Jammu division and 1094 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 2912826 test results available, 2804520 samples have been tested as negative till November 26.
Till date 778968 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 19455 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 5275 in isolation and 45138 in home surveillance.
Besides, 707432 persons have completed their surveillance period.
