Hemant Soren reaches ancestral village of Nemra to celebrate Sohrai

Ramgarh, Nov 26 (UNI) Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday reached his ancestral village of Nemra located in Gola Block of this district to celebrate the festival of Sohrai and also participate in a function to be organised on the occasion martyrdom day of his grandfather.

Upon reaching the village he was given a guard of honour by the district administration during which DC Sandeep Singh, SP Prabhat Kumar along with Ramgarh MLA Mamta Devi were present. Prior to the Chief Minister his father and Rajya Sabha MP Shibu Soren also reached the village.

After celebrating Sohrai festival the Chief Minister will participate in a function to be organised on the martyrdom day of his grandfather at Lukaiyatand of Barlanga. He will also interact with the district officials over development works being executed in the district.

Upon reaching the village the Chief Minister also paid floral tributes to his uncle late Lalu Soren. In wake of the visit of the Chief Minister security has been increased in Nemra with SP Prabhat Kumar himself looking after the security arrangements.

DC Sandeep Singh and other officials are also camping in the village.
