Thane, Nov 26 (UNI) With 799 corona positive cases being reported in the past 24 hours, the tally has spiked to 2,25,613 in the district, an official at the district headquarters said on Thursday.

While, death cases have gone up to 5,634 with an addition of 15 deaths.

The official said that the recovery rate of the district is 94.40%(212984) mortality 2.50%(5634) and active patients were 3.10%(6995).

The total of positive patients in some of the cities were Thane 50446 , Kalyan 53175 , Mira Bayander 23879 and Navi Mumbai 47550.

Citywise deaths are as follows; Thane 1220, Kalyan 1050 , Mira Bayander 755 , and Navi Mumbai 969 .

In adjoining Palghar district, the total positive cases in the district till date was 42,395 and 1152 deaths, he said.
