3.74 lakh voters to cast their votes in Aurangabad Division Graduate constituency poll next month

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Nov 25 (UNI) Total 3,74,045 voters from eight districts of Marathwada will exercise their right to franchise at total 813 polling stations in the region for the election to the Aurangabad Division Graduate constituency of the Maharashtra Legislative Council due on December 1.
The number of district-wise voters and the polling booths in bracket is as such: Aurangabad-1,06,379 (206), Jalna-29,765 (74), Parbhani-32,681 (78), Hingoli-16,764 (39), Nanded-49,285 (123), Beed 64,349 (131), Latur-41,190 (88) and Osmanabad-33,632 (74), sources in the Election Branch, Divisional Commissioner's Office of Aurangabad stated here on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, all political parties, mainly constituents of ruling MVA led by NCP and Opposition BJP as well as AIMIM, VBA among others, are busy with poll campaigning in all the eight districts.

Covid-19 cases in Nashik rise close to 1 lakh

Nashik, Nov 25 (UNI) Altogether 295 fresh Covid-19 patients and four deaths were reported on Wednesday, taking the district's tally and the death toll of such cases to 99,381 and 1,773, respectively.

Triple suicide: Thane Police arrest 1, register case of abetment of suicide, Black Magic Act

Thane, Nov 25 (UNI) Almost a week after three persons from Chande village of Sahapur taluka near Khardi committed suicide by hanging themselves to the three on the night of Amavasya on November 14, the district rural police arrested one person on the charges of abetting their suicide and practicing black magic the police said today.
