MFIs/MFDs/RIAs are hereby informed that we have received communication from PRINCIPAL Mutual Fund regarding merger of Principal Retirement Savings Fund (Transferor Schemes) into Principal Hybrid Equity Fund(Transferee Scheme). The merger shall be effective after the close of business hours on December 24, 2020 (Record Date or Effective Date).

Consequently, fresh subscription through lumpsum and additional investment/Switch In//STP In/SIP shall not be accepted in the Transferor schemes after the close of business hours on November 24, 2020.

Further, as per notice cum addendum issued by PRINCIPAL AMC, the investor who are not in favour of the above scheme merger can redeem their investments or switch to other Schemes of PRINCIPAL Mutual Fund available for subscription without payment of exit load within a period of 30 days starting from November 25, 2020 to December 24, 2020 (Both days inclusive) through BSE StAR MF platform.

Further, with effect from December 25, 2020 the Transferor schemes shall cease to exist & SIP/XSIP/STP/SWP/AMC-STP registered will get shifted to Transferee scheme i.e. Principal Hybrid Equity Fund.

The notice cum addendum issued by PRINCIPAL AMC & details of the schemes are attached in Annexure.
