Arunachal’s Covid-19 active cases fall below 1000 mark

Itanagar, Nov 26 (UNI) The Covid-19 active cases in Arunachal Pradesh dropped below the 1000-mark for the first time in the last three months.

The state continued to witness a significant dip in Covid-19 cases with less than 30 infections reported in the past 24 hours, taking the tally to 16174.

Out of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) reported the highest at 11, followed by Leparada six and Lower Dibang Valley three, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services (DHS).

Barring nine, all the cases are asymptomatic.

While the active cases dropped below the 1000-mark with the discharge of 66 patients following their recovery from the virus. The tally stood at 15157.

Informing the same through micro-blogging site Twitter, Chief Minister Pema Khandu urged all to maintain precautions-wear mask, wash hands and maintain physical distance.

State has recorded 49 fatalities so far.
