HP CM congratulates newly elected Indian origin MP in New Zealand

Shimla, Nov 26 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Thursday congratulated Dr Gaurav Sharma who has been elected to the Parliament of New Zealand recently.
Notably, Dr Sharma hails from Hadeta village of Hamirpur district.
Dr Sharma has become first parliamentarian of Indian origin who had taken oath in Sanskrit in New Zealand.
Expressing his pleasure, Chief Minister said that Dr Sharma has brought pride to the country by taking oath in Sanskrit in a foreign country. Mr Thakur wished him a bright future.
