Chandigarh, Nov 26 (UNI) Terming the killing of two Army Jawans in a terrorist attack near Srinagar as a cowardly act, the BJP on Thursday asked why the Gupkar alliance was quiet on the incident.
'The silence of Gupkar alliance clearly shows that they are supporting the terrorists to attack the security forces. It clearly show their anti-national credentials,' said BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh here.
He said the terrorists used the crowd as cover to escape after targetting the quick reaction team of the Army.
Mr Chugh lauded the Army for exercising restraint, though the two jawans had to sacrifice their life in the heinous incident.
