Telangana state reported 993 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. With this the total COVID cases reported in the state has gone up to 2 lakh 66 thousand 42. The state has conducted over 47 thousand tests yesterday.
The recovery rate also marginally improved to 95.36 per cent with 1150 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to 2 lakh 53 thousand 715.
Meanwhile, the daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning stated that total 1441 deaths reported so far following 4 more people succumbing during the past 24 hours. Currently the state has over 10 thousand active cases out of which over 8 thousand are in home isolation.
