MTS Belarus tests NB-IoT management system for dairy farms

MTS Belarus has started testing a management system for dairy farms based on its NB-IoT network. The pilot project is carried out at an agricultural company in the Glubokoye municipality in the Vitebsk region.

Animals are provided with smart collars including IoT sensors with specialised software. The NB-IoT network of the operator is used to transmit data on the animals to help in monitoring their health and care. 

The platform was designed in cooperation with the Chinese company Aotoso.
