Orange Jordan said it has teamed up with the Independent Election Commission (IEC) to provide connectivity for this year's parliament elections, linking 1,845 voting and counting centres across the country and more than 8,500 voting points in the main election operations centre.
According to the operator, each location was linked to three communication services through the operations centres allocated to the electronic project, through a network that included about 8,500 computers connected to the main and backup centres. These were equipped to transfer and exchange data efficiently during the elections.
Orange has earlier helped out with parliament elections in Jordan.
