Many MCU movies and TV shows have been delayed due to the pandemic. The Hollywood Reporter recently shared an update about resuming production on several Marvel movies, including Thor: Love and Thunder.
The Hollywood Reporter claims that the next Thor movie will have “an Avengers 5 feel” due to its huge ensemble cast. Along with the returning cast members, the movie will feature Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, and Chris Pratt. Thor: Love and Thunder will begin production in Sydney, Australia in January 2021.
Director Taika Waititi has previously teased the story of the new Thor movie. Waititi said, “We've been writing the script off and on for over a year, and this week I'm doing another pass on it. It is so insane. It's also very romantic. I'm into romances now. I just want to make a romance. I want to make something I've never done or never cared for. I would like to attack something like that.”
