PALGHAR: Three persons who got trapped in the lift of a six-storey building were rescued by firemen in Vasai town of Maharashtra's Palghar district, an official said on Wednesday. According to the sources in the fire brigade, the lift of the building in Papdi area malfunctioned and got stuck midway between the first and the second floors on Tuesday afternoon.
One of the persons in the lift, which was stuck for over an hour, called the fire brigade, who rushed to the scene within minutes and got them out safely, the official said.
