Orange Romania is adding five new start-ups to its Orange Fab start-up accelerator, namely ClarK Vision, Interact, MobileControl, Streamerse and Telios. These are the start-ups that won its 5G Online Challenge. Three other start-ups with use cases related to 5G and IoT will receive support, it said, namely City Air, City Dock and IoT4Nature.
The winners of the 5G Online Challenge will receive access to Orange Fab's Hub Pass programme, to 5G Orange laboratories as well as a suite of equipment, platforms, APIs and connectivity options that contribute to the formation of the 5G and IoT Orange Romania ecosystem.
ClarK Vision creates glasses and an augmented reality platform that helps companies provide specialised remote guidance.
Interact is a project that implements traffic management functions, using a low latency mobile edge computing network, to support V2X (vehicle-to-everything) communication and thus ensure the safety and efficiency of road traffic.
MobileControl, through its Active Building Control product, makes a real-time monitoring system for environmental and energy consumption parameters for workspaces.
Streamerse is an online platform that allows event organisers to engage their audience in live events, monetise video content and benefit from the marketplace effect.
Telios is a virtual clinic that aims to make new functionalities for customers benefiting from 5G functionalities.
