Naqvi condoles death of Ahmed Patel

New Delhi, Nov 25 (UNI) Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Wednesday

mourned the death of Congress leader Ahmed Patel, who died at a Gurugram hospital this morning after Covid infection.

In a tweet, Mr Naqvi said, 'Deeply saddened to hear about demise of veteran Congress leader Ahmed Patel Ji, known for his down to earth nature. My heartfelt condolences to Ahmed Bhai's family. RIP..'

The 71-year-old Congress leader passed away at 0330 hrs at Medanta hospital in Gurgaon due to multiple organ failure after testing positive for Covid-19.

New Delhi, Nov 25 (UNI) The India Meteorological Department on Wednesday said that the super cyclonic storm Niwar is very likely to cross Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts between Karaikal and Mamallapuram around Puducherry during mid-night of November 25 and early hours of 26 as a very severe cyclonic storm with a wind speed of 120-130 kmph gusting to 145 kmph.
