While she was onto her Rs 1 crore question, Anupa still had one lifeline left, that of 50:50, which allowed her to get rid of two incorrect options. After some thought, she decides to use the lifeline and is left with option A and D of which she confidently chooses option D and wins the prize money of Rs 1 crore.

Anupa mentions to host Amitabh Bachchan that she was confident the answer was option D but was to be doubly sure, she used her lifeline.

The question which won her a prize money os Rs 1 crore was- Who was awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his bravery on 18 November 1962 at Rezang La in Ladakh?

The options to the question were-

A) Major Dhan Singh Thapa

B) Lt Col Ardeshir Tarapore

C) Subedar Joginder Singh

D) Major Shaitan Singh

After Amitabh Bachchan asked her if she was sure, Anupa went ahead with her option and asked the host to lock the answer.

The correct answer which won Anupa Rs 1 crore was - D) Major Shaitan Singh.

After her big win, the show makers call up her ailing mother and then an emotional Anupa informs her mom that she has won Rs 1 crore.

Earlier, IPS officer Mohita Sharma had correctly answered a Rs 1 crore question to become the first civil servant in the show's history and the second contestant to become crorepati in KBC 12.
