Manoj Mishra and Anu Choudhury have teamed up for an Odia film. The shooting of the crime thriller, titled Nishpati, was held at different places in and around Bhubaneswar. Manoj plays a police officer in this Sanjay Ghosh directorial, while Anu plays his wife. Chinmay Mishra plays a psychopathic killer. This is Sanjay’s first Odia directorial.
Manoj is happy about his role, as it’s different from what he has been portraying till now. “I have been playing mostly negative roles, so playing a police officer is a welcome change. It’s different from the monotonous characters I’m offered here,” said the actor, who also shot for a sports-based Hindi film post the lockdown.
Anu is also happy working with a talented team. “Working with co-actors like Manoj and Chinmay is a wonderful experience. Most of our shoot was held indoors and a few portions were shot around the city,” she said.
