Peacock Premium — where 'The Office' is likely headed — is 20% off

Save $10: New subscribers can save 20% off a Peacock Premium subscription with this Black Friday deal, locking down a whole year of content for $39.99.
Netflix users have just over a month left of The Office as eternal background noise.
The cultural staple and elite comforting energy is officially leaving Netflix on Dec. 31 and will jump over to Peacock, NBCUniversal's new streaming service. NBC is where The Office originally aired from 2005 to 2013.
Clearly, stans of the show have a choice: Sign up for Peacock or buy all nine seasons of The Office on DVD. A Black Friday deal from Peacock is making the decision easier: New subscribers can save 20% on a Peacock Premium membership, paying just $39.99 (less than $4 per month) for an entire year of content. (This would also make a great gift if you're worried about shipping delays.)
It's not yet confirmed whether The Office will be a part of Peacock Free or Peacock Premium. To be fair, Peacock's free tier — something that streaming services seldom (never?) offer — has an extremely impressive lineup. About two-thirds of the platform's content is free, including 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, SNL, and a ton of popular movies. Given those titles, you could argue that The Office is similarly classic and would align nicely with its free counterparts.
But let's be real: The Office is one of Peacock's biggest draws. People would pay Peacock Premium's monthly fee even if The Office was the only show the tier offered. That's a huge money-making opportunity for Peacock that we'd be shocked to see given up — especially because NBC will be offering a ton of exclusive new The Office content, like unreleased footage and extended episodes.
Peacock Premium is a steal even without The Office. It's home to Trolls World Tour, live Premier League matches, every season of Law and Order: SVU and Saved by the Bell, and access to Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon before they air on TV. Many other TV shows that only have a season or two available for free will have all seasons available on Premium. Peacock's Premium Plus plan ($89.99) has everything included with Premium, just without ads.
