India vs Australia Live Commentary : All India Radio and its listeners was left disappointed recently as even after trying for 6 months to convince BCCI to grant them the Indian Premier League radio rights they could not clinch the deal – but that will not be the case for the India vs Australia Series.
All India Radio (AIR) has bagged the rights to telecast live commentary of the forthcoming series against Australia. AIR will be broadcasting commentary for all ten games which includes 3ODI, 3T20 & 4 Test Matches.
AIR has bagged the rights after sub-licensing by Sony Pictures Network who is the master contract holder of Cricket Australia rights in the Indian Sub-Continent.
“Yes, we have got radio rights for the series and AIR will be broadcasting all the matches. DD will show the white ball games,” the Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Shekhar Vempati confirmed to Mumbai Mirror.
As mandated by the Broadcasting Act, Sony Pictures Network will also be sharing feed of all White-Ball games (ODI’s and T20) with DD.

India tour of Australia: Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) has roped in Bollywood’s biggest star Amitabh Bachchan to promote the upcoming India vs Australia series which is scheduled to commence from November 27. In a video released by the broadcaster on social media, the ‘Shahenshah of Bollywood’ called for the Indian cricket fans to show their love and support for the Men in Blue who are returning to the international arena after nine months.

India vs Australia arha hai. Mai toh subah 8 bje dekhunga Sony ke sports channel par aur aap? Dekhiyega zarur. Dhanyavaad,” Big B said in the 35-seconds long clip.
India tour of Australia Live Broadcast: The much-awaited India vs Australia series will be broadcasted Live by Sony Pictures Sports Network (SPSN) in four different languages. The series will mark the return of Indian cricket team after their international activities were brought to a standstill due to the pandemic in March. The series will commence from November 27, 2020 and will be aired in four different languages. It will be broadcasted LIVE on SONY TEN 1 channels in English, SONY TEN 3 channels in Hindi and SONY SIX channels with English, Tamil and Telugu commentary.
Notably, the highly anticipated tour will be the first international cricket series for Virat Kohli’s team India after a gap of almost 9 months and comprises 3 ODI’s, 3 T20I’s and 4 Tests.
