Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Dileepbhai Sanghani, the newly elected President of the apex body of cooperatives-NCUI, who was elected unopposed by newly-elected Directors on Monday.
Humbled by the message from the Prime Minister, Sanghani shared the information through social media and wrote, “Thank you to PM Narendra Modi for conveying the good wishes for being elected as the President of NCUI”.
Besides, cutting across party lines, everyone congratulated Sanghani for his victory. From Union Minister of State for Agriculture Parshottam Rupala to Union Minister of State for Fertilizer Mansukhbhai Mandaviya to Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog Chairman Dr. Vallabh Kathiria to Banaskantha District Central Cooperative Bank Vice- Chairman Jigar B Desai and others congratulating Sanghani.
J P Dalal, Haryana Minister rushed in person to IFFCO headquarters to greet Sanghani.
The news of Sanghani’s rise to the apex co-op body spread like wildfire. It is to be mentioned here that for the first time in the history of NCUI, a leader associated with BJP has become the President of the apex body.
