MBC Group and Rotana Media Group have signed a deal to bring Rotana's TV channels to the Shahid VIP platform. Rotana television material will also be made available on demand for streaming service subscribers. The long-term partnership will allow Shahid VIP to expand its Arabic content offering on its platform.
Rotana Media Group channels, including Rotana Cinema, Rotana Khalijia, Rotana+, Rotana Classic, Rotana Kids, Rotana Drama and Rotana Music, have become available to stream live in high definition (HD) on Shahid VIP throughout MENA. On-demand service will start in December.
