The Russian PaaS market has doubled within the past four years, reports Comnews.ru citing a study from iKS-Consulting. The market is expected to total RUB 6.1 billion by year-end and reach RUB 11 billion in 2024.
Local providers of PaaS services hold more than a half of the Russian market. The pandemic has fostered the use of cloud services.
Large and medium-size companies employing up to 1,000 are the main users of PaaS in the country.These customers generate 70 percent of market revenues.
The city and region of Moscow lead among regions, holding a total of 35 percent of the PaaS market. The share is at 20 percent for the city and region of St Petersburg.
