#MeToo movement: Sona Mohapatra recalls facing sexual misconduct in college

Sona Mohapatra is a huge supporter of women's right, and also amongst the first few celebs who raised her voice against powerful names in B-Town during the #MeToo movement in India. She is now lending her voice to another movement that calls out the practice of victim blaming. Urging women to tweet what they wore when they experienced sexual misconduct, Sona shared her own experience from college days. She recalled, 'During my BTech Engg, walking to the microprocessor lab in a loose khadi green kurta with a salwar.Seniors whistling, speculating loudly about my bra size. One ‘well wisher’ walked up & asked why I wasn’t wearing my dupatta ‘properly’, fully covering my ‘boobs’. #INeverAskForIt.'
