Melania Trump joined her husband President Donald Trump for the annual pardoning of the National Thanksgiving Turkey at the White House this afternoon; the pardoning has been a yearly presidential tradition since 1989.
For the occasion ahead of the American holiday, the first lady went for a fall-ready ensemble that layered and black and white tweed coat over a leather knee-length skirt.
The former model topped off the outfit with a set of teetering suede heels, formed with black uppers and a contrasting taupe suede cap toe.
When it comes to heels, the first lady oftentimes prefers styles from two prominent brands in particular: Christian Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik. Joining the first couple at the event was President Donald Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, and her husband, Jared Kushner. Ivanka modeled a white long-sleeve blouse and tailored trousers set for the occasion with a colorful blue mask for a pop of texture.
When she isn’t in heels, Melania Trump herself has also been spotted in flatter styles like her pair from Roger Vivier as well as shorter heels from Dior. Her designer-filled selection of apparel as well includes pieces from Ralph Lauren and Gucci, as well as bespoke designs from her personal stylist, Herve Pierre, former creative director for Carolina Herrera.
