2 die in California church stabbing

San Jose, November 23

Two persons died and several others were injured in a church stabbing incident in California on Sunday night.

“Our hearts go out to the families of the two victims who died in the attack at Grace Baptist Church downtown,” San Jose police and Mayor Sam Liccardo said.

The mayor also said in his tweet that a suspect had been arrested, but later deleted the tweet. The police said there were no services taking place at the time of the stabbing, but homeless individuals had been brought to the church to get them out of the cold. — AP
