Sensex ends all time high at 44,523.02pts

Mumbai, Nov 24 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Tuesday ended an all time high at 44,523.02, up by 445.87 pts following gains in Bankex, Auto, Realty and Finance amid positive global cues.

The Nifty of national stock exchange too rose by 128.70 pts at 13,055.15.

The sensex advanced by 264 pts to open at 44,341.19 in opening trade. During the day it spurted 524 pts to 44,601.63, days high before closing at 44,523.02, surging by 445.87 pts from its previous close.

The sensex registered days high and low at 44,601.63 and 44,247.12 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded days high and low at 13,079.10 and 12,978 pts respectively.

The sectoral indices that kept the market firm were Bankex, Auto, Realty, Finance and FMCG stocks.

The scrips that increased were Axis Bank by 4.02 pc to Rs 619.55 followed by M& M , HDFC Bank, ITC and SBI.

The Mid Cap rose by 0.58 pc and Small Cap by 0.89 pc.

In 30 scrips, 22 advanced while 8 declined.
