'Suit Boot Ki Sarkar' friend of few corporates: Rahul

New Delhi, Nov 24 (UNI) Taking the 'Suit Boot Ki Sarkar' jibe at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government on Tuesday, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi accused the current dispensation of being involved in safeguarding the interests of the capitalists by working slowly in an organised manner.

Mr Gandhi sharpening his attack further accused the government of working only for the benefit and solving purpose of the capitalists.

Taking to twitter Mr Gandhi said ' Understand the chronology : first loan waiver for the few big companies. Next, huge tax cuts for companies. Now, give people's savings directly to banks set up by these same companies.# SuitBootKiSarkar'.

With his tweet, he shared a news report wherein former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan and famous economist Viral Acharya have described recommendation of Indian corporate houses to set up a bank , as a wrong idea.

New Delhi, Nov 24 (UNI) After witnessing a rise of above 40,000 cases daily for the past several days, India on Tuesday recorded a fresh spike of 37,975 new infections, while 480 more lives were claimed by the COVID-19 pandemic in the past 24 hours.
