German digital bank N26 has introduced a premium subscription called N26 Smart to its range at a cost of EUR 4.90 per month. N26 Smart is the third subscription product introduced by the German digital bank after N26 You and N26 Metal. The subscription provides new functionalities to help customers organise their finances, on top of a digital account.

Moreover, it provides access to the new round-ups feature, which automatically rounds each purchase up to the nearest euro and sets aside the spare change. Up to five free ATM withdrawals a month are free of charge worldwide in any currency. Customers can pick five different colours for their N26 Smart Mastercard including Aqua, Rhubarb, Sand, Slate and Ocean.
N26 will introduced other changes to its product portfolio in the coming months. N26 Standard is set to become fully digital. N26 You will become N26 International, offering additional features for borderless banking and zero FX fees for customers who travel, shop and send money internationally. Finally, N26 Metal will become N26 Unlimited, and will include travel and lifestyle insurance. For freelancers and the self-employed, N26 will offer the N26 Business Smart subscription, which will provide the benefits of a personal N26 Smart premium account on top of offers by partners and benefits for business customers, and 0.1 percent cashback on all card spending.
