Refined soya oil contracts for January traded lower by Rs 11.7, or 1.09 percent, at Rs 1,060.7 per 10 kg in 9,290 lots.

Refined soya oil for delivery in December declined by Rs 11.6, or 1.07 per cent, to Rs 1,067.5 per 10 kg in 56,450 lots.

Refined soya oil prices on Monday fell by Rs 11.6 to Rs 1,067.5 per 10 kg in futures trade as speculators reduced holdings amid subdued demand in spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in December declined by Rs 11.6, or 1.07 per cent, to Rs 1,067.5 per 10 kg in 56,450 lots.

Likewise, refined soya oil contracts for January traded lower by Rs 11.7, or 1.09 per cent, at Rs 1,060.7 per 10 kg in 9,290 lots.

Market analysts said cutting down of positions by participants against ample stocks mainly influenced refined soya oil prices.
