Leopard captured in Nashik

Nashik, Nov 23 (UNI) An adult leopard was captured in a cage set up by the Forest Department near a housing project near Vihitgaon on Monday morning.
According to forest department sources, leopards are moved in Deolali Camp, Wadner Road, Vihitgaon. Even before this, the leopard has been seen by the citizens in the Mala area of this area. This created an atmosphere of fear among the citizens of the area. Forest Ranger Vivek Bhadane had ordered to set up a cage as per the demand of the citizens.

According to this, ten to twelve days ago, the forest workers inspected the place and deployed a cage. The leopard was coming and going in this area; But there were no leopards in the cage. The forest workers repeatedly inspected the cage and changed its direction. On Monday morning, the leopard was trapped in a cage in search of prey.
On Monday morning, when the security guards and some laborers went to the site of the housing project, they heard a growling sound from the cage. He immediately informed the police about this. After that, as soon as the forest department got the information, the entourage of the western forest department reached the spot. The leopard took possession of the confiscated cage and moved it safely. Three days ago, a female leopard was captured from the outskirts of Chandgiri village.
