Non-coking coal would get expensive from next month at state-owned
Coal India (CIL).
In its regulatory filing, CIL today said, "CIL Board approved to enhance the non-coking coal price by Rs.10/- per tonne for Regulated and non-Regulated sectors across CIL towards contribution to the corpus of CMPS 1998."
Further, the company said, this would come into force from 00:00 hours of December 01, 2020.
On Sensex, Coal India completed at Rs122.70 per piece up 1.03%. The stock has gained to an intraday high of Rs123.40 per piece and low of Rs119.75 per piece respectively.
