IDnet to migrate to IP telephony with BT Wholesale

Monday 23 November 2020 | 15:08 CET | News

UK operator iDnet has reached an agreement with BT to migrate its phone services to an all-IP platform. Around 4,000 lines will transfer to BT Wholesale’s Hosted Communications service, reports ISPreview.co.uk.

iDnet already relies on a wholesale deal for broadband services from BT. The new agreement will allow it to offer a full unified communications service to customers and prepare for the expected shutdown of analogue telephony services in 2025.
