AP govt failed in achieving industrial development: Lokesh

Vijayawada, Nov 23 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party National General Secretary Nara Lokesh alleged that the Jagan Mohan Reddy headed Government in Andhra Pradesh followed retrogressive policies and achieved nothing for the industrial development in the past 18 months of its regime.
Mr. Lokesh said that all the companies, both big and small, were scared of coming to AP after hearing about the strange policies of the regime. Ever since coming to power, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy concentrated his time and energy on demolitions and destruction.
In a statement here on Monday, the former Minister criticised the Jagan regime for trying to steal all the credit for the hard work put in by the Chandrababu Naidu Government.
The fact was that only the former Chief Minister's work would be seen behind the success of companies even though CM Jagan Reddy's photos were being used alongside the companies' names.
Mr. Lokesh, who is the MLC, said that the ruling YSRCP leaders were making all out efforts to claim credit for establishing noted companies that have come during the TDP regime. Probably, the Chief Minister was not realising that the people would not blindly believe in all those untruths and falsehoods being spread by his party and Government on development projects in the State.
Condemning the behaviour of the ruling YSRCP leaders in the Kakinada DRC meeting, Mr. Lokesh, who is the son of former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, termed as unfortunate the attack on the TDP MLAs.
The unchecked rowdyism of the ruling party leaders once again came to the fore and thoroughly exposed before the people. The YSRCP was resorting to attacks and atrocities as it was unable to answer to the people's queries on the lack of any development, he lashed out.
