'Halftime Report' Traders Share Their Thoughts On GLD, Mastercard And More
On CNBC's "Fast Money Halftime Report," Joe Terranova said SPDR Gold Trust (NYSE: GLD) belongs in an investor's portfolio. He has owned the ETF for quite some time because he sees it as a pure play to gold.
Jim Lebenthal doesn't think Raytheon Technologies Corp (NYSE: RTX) is too high. He sees it as a great defense company that has been held back because of its exposure to the commercial aerospace sector. He likes the stock for the next couple of years.
Stephen Weiss thinks all the airlines are trading with very little divergence. He has a problem with United Airlines Holdings Inc (NASDAQ: UAL) because of its exposure to the Asian markets and to business travel. He thinks business travel won't come back for quite some time. Weiss prefers Delta Air Lines, Inc. (NYSE: DAL), but he doesn't see much difference between any of the airline stocks.
If you own Mastercard Inc (NYSE: MA), hold it, and if you don't own it, buy it, said Degas Wright. He thinks it is fairly priced at this level and it has great profitability. He sees a lot of upside for the stock.
Liz Young advised a viewer to diversify across regions, sectors and size categories. She thinks it's not so much about the number of stocks.
